About the Tastings at Systembolaget Umeå

Booking: You can book a tasting by contacting Systembolaget Umeå at +46 90770016 or by visiting the store at Rådhusesplanaden 6 E. Tastings begin at 19.30.
Age requirement: Guests must be at least 20 years old to join tastings or purchase alcohol and at least 18 years old to collect pre ordered items.
Setting: Tastings are held on weekdays after the store has closed which provides a calm and focused environment.
Duration: Each session lasts around ninety minutes to two hours.
Number of drinks: Depending on the theme you will taste four to eight drinks. Portions may be smaller when more glasses are included due to serving regulations.
Guidance: Tastings are led by trained staff who select the drinks carefully and guide you through tasting technique, style and origin.
Sensory conditions: Guests are encouraged to avoid strong perfumes to support the tasting experience. Allergies can be mentioned when booking.
