Wine brings people together, and so does MapMyWine.

Inappropriate Content
We value creativity, personality, and honest expression. However, we do not tolerate hate speech, harassment, personal attacks, threats, or intentionally disruptive behaviour. Content that is pornographic, obscene, violent, or otherwise deemed inappropriate may be removed at MapMyWine’s sole discretion.
Disrespectful behaviour toward contributors, venues, staff, or moderators is unacceptable and may result in content removal or account restrictions.
Promotional Content
Promotional content is generally not permitted unless you are a vineyard, wine retreat, tour operator, or related business posting on your own dedicated listing or profile.
If you operate a website, blog, publication, or create wine-related content and wish to collaborate or share it on MapMyWine, we encourage you to contact us to explore appropriate partnerships. Our goal is to keep MapMyWine informative, authentic, and enjoyable—without it becoming overrun by unsolicited advertising.
Privacy
Please respect the privacy of others. Do not share private or personal information without clear consent. Avoid posting close-up images or videos of individuals who have not agreed to be featured, and refrain from publishing full names unless the individuals are publicly recognised professionals or service providers who openly present themselves by name.
Conflicts of Interest
If you are affiliated with a vineyard, accommodation, tour company, or related business, we ask that you contribute transparently and responsibly. Avoid biased behaviour such as artificially inflating ratings of your own offerings or unfairly criticising competitors.
Encouraging genuine feedback from guests is welcome; directing or manipulating the content of reviews is not. MapMyWine reserves the right to remove content that appears misleading, biased, or commercially motivated.
Intellectual Property
Originality matters. Do not copy or reproduce content from other platforms, publications, or individuals without permission. We encourage contributors to use their own images, words, and perspectives—this is what makes MapMyWine valuable, trustworthy, and engaging for everyone.
