Flyinge Vingård, located just east of Lund in southern Skåne, is a boutique vineyard dedicated to producing high quality wines on a small but passionate scale. Nestled in the countryside near the historic Flyinge equestrian center, the vineyard offers visitors a glimpse into Sweden’s growing wine culture and the challenges and opportunities of winemaking in a cool climate.

Grape Varieties and Winemaking
The vineyard’s plantings are focused primarily on Solaris, a robust and versatile grape that thrives in Sweden’s shorter growing season. Solaris is known for producing fresh, aromatic white wines with good acidity and notes of citrus and tropical fruit.

Experiences Offered
Guided Tours & Tastings: During the summer season, Flyinge Vingård welcomes guests for prebooked vineyard walks and tastings. These experiences are intimate and personal, with the winemaker or host sharing insights about vine cultivation, harvest, and cellar work.

Seasonal Events
On occasion, the vineyard organises small scale gatherings or themed tasting events, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for wine enthusiasts.

Wines Offered
Flyinge’s portfolio is centered around Solaris:
Solaris White: Crisp, fruit driven wines showcasing citrus and floral notes, typical of the variety.
Special Releases: From time to time, experimental bottlings or limited cuvées are offered, often available exclusively at the vineyard.

Visiting Information
Flyinge Vingård is located at Flyingebyvägen 133, 247 91 Flyinge, Sweden, about 20 minutes from Lund. Visits are seasonal and by appointment only, making it ideal for those seeking a personal and low-key vineyard experience. Flyinge Vingård

Flyinge Vingård is a nice little stop if you’re curious about Swedish wine, but don’t expect a full scale wine retreat. The setting is lovely and quiet, and the tour was personal, which I appreciated. The Solaris wine was fresh and enjoyable, though the selection was fairly limited compared to bigger estates. It’s more of an authentic, small vineyard experience than a polished visitor attraction, there’s no restaurant or hotel, so the focus is strictly on the vines and the wine. That makes it feel genuine, but also a bit basic if you’re looking for a full day out.
