Ljungbyholms Vingård, situated on a southern slope between Båstad and Ängelholm in northwestern Skåne, Sweden, is a family-owned vineyard renowned for producing elegant white, red, and rosé wines. Established in 2019 by Annika and Joakim Palm, the vineyard has expanded from an initial planting of fewer than 100 vines to approximately 5,000 vines across 1.5 hectares.

Grape Varieties

The vineyard cultivates a diverse selection of grape varieties
White Grapes: Solaris, Phönix, Ortega, Riesel, and Souvignier Gris.
Red Grapes: Rondo, Cabernet Cortis, Cabernet Noir, Bolero, and Regent.
These varieties are well suited to the regions fertile sand and clay soils, benefiting from the mild winters and long summers influenced by the nearby sea.

Experiences Offered

Wine Tastings: Ljungbyholms Vingård offers guided wine tastings for groups of up to 50 people, with both indoor and outdoor seating options depending on the season. Each tasting is accompanied by a platter of cheese and cold cuts. Guests can choose from various tasting menus, sampling selections ranging from a single glass to six different wines.

Vineyard Tours: Visitors can explore the vineyard and learn about the winemaking process, from grape cultivation to bottling. The tours provide insights into the history and operations of the vineyard, set against the backdrop of the picturesque Bjäre Peninsula.

Wines and Distillates

Ljungbyholms Vingård produces a variety of wines, including
Solaris 2023: A dry, fresh white wine made from the Solaris grape, characterized by crisp acidity and notes of gooseberry, citrus, and elderflower.
Phönix-Solaris 2023: A dry, full bodied white wine with a blend of Phönix and Solaris grapes, offering a well balanced acidity and flavors of citrus, pear, and vanilla.
Bolero Rosé 2023: A dry, aromatic rosé wine from Bolero grapes, featuring flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and a hint of marzipan.
Rondo Claret 2023: A light red wine made from Rondo grapes, noted for its soft fruitiness and balanced acidity with flavors of cherries and blackberries.
In addition to wines, the vineyard produces distillates, further showcasing their commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
